Balcony Dividers First Balcony Question

We have cabins 6696 and 6698 on the LOS September 26, 2009 sailing. I was wondering if the divider can be open to make a larger balcony. Also how are these cabins on this aft section of the ship? Thanks for any information.

I'm pretty sure they open. There's a square key that unlocks the door. I don't think they like the passangers to have the door open, the door is used for cleaning. We opened our with a screwdriver. Good luck

The balcony dividers can physically be opened, but it is not a given. Whether or not you will be allowed to have them opened is totally at the discretion of the Captain and the Head of Housekeeping. On some ships/sailings, the Captain will not allow it, and your request will be denied (greasing the palms of your room steward will NOT help in this case).
