Hey guys,

DH and I are taking the Kayak Safari excursion in Grand Cayman and are soooo... excited. :) Has anyone ever done the kayak thing and if so please let us know what you thought about it and if you have any pointers.....oh yea, and since the excursion is only for about 3 hours we are looking for other things to do and see afterwards.... I guess you can call us a couple of thrill seekers this go round.

Oh yea...forgot to mention we are leaving on the Carnival Liberty Sept 12!! Woo hooo 3 more days to goooooooo...:D

Thanks guys.

We did the Kayak Safari in July. We loved it, but it does take a lot of energy!

We stopped a couple of times for our guide to tell us history/info. The water was kind of choppy and we had to kayak a good ways out to a platform. We got on the platform to get our gear on for snorkeling. There wasn't a whole lot to see, but we had a great time. Then you have to kayak back in. You had better have a good relationship with your spouse because you really have to work together to keep your kayak going in the right direction! Our guide said that this excursion has a high divorce rate! The kayaking was really more than what we thought it would be, but in the end all three couples in our group had a great time. I would definitely recommend it.
