Guarantee Cabin? Limit?

Is there a limit to how many people you can book in a Guarantee? Carnivals site lets me to 4(2 adults, 2 kids) but when checking rates on other sites-it says only a max of 2 can be placed in a Guarantee...

We always have three in a cabin and usually book a guarantee so I know the limit is not 2. I did try once to book three in a guarantee with a group and was told they only allow 2 for guarantee within a group.

There are a limited number of cabins which hold 3 or 4 people, so it is possible there are only 2 occupancy cabins remaining for a guarantee.

 

You could try for 2 guarantee cabins and would be a lot more comfortable, or just book your choice cabin for 4 at the going rate.
