Rhapsody Aft Balconies

What kind of information are you looking for in particular? I've stayed in room 7152, which is the corner aft cabin, and would be happy to answer any questions you might have.

On the RCCL site, you can see the info on the cabins. For your stateroom, click here for the specs. Your balcony should be bigger than they list on the site, though, as the aft balconies are bigger than those on the sides.

Motion wasn't an issue on the cruise we took last year (end of May) and I'm hoping it won't this year as we're going pretty much the same week. Vibration however, depending on how sensitive you are, might be a bit of an issue. It didn't bother us much, in fact I think it helped me sleep better, but in the dining room our glasses and silverware were jittering all over the place, at least the first night. After that, it wasn't so bad.

Your room is over the Shall we Dance lounge, (but not over the band stage), so noise shouldn't be too bad. We WERE right over the stage, but we only noticed the music in the hall, and our room was fairly quiet.

Storage is ample, the room is a little cramped but not too bad. I think my only complaint was that the shower was pretty small. It had a curtain, and there's nothing I hate more than some wet shower curtain blowing around and sticking to me as I'm trying to clean up. Yuck!

Privacy...just remember that the deck above you also has balconies, and if you're beyond the overhang, you can be seen. The balconies are separated on either side with panels, but you'll still be able to see your neighbors if you're out by the rail. Since the balconies on the aft are bigger, you'll probably have at least one lounger, along with a small table and chairs.

That's about it in a nutshell. If you need anything else, let me know!

By the way, when are you going? We'll be on the May 23 to 30 cruise...

We are leaving Sunday morning on the Rhapsody and staying in an aft corner, 7652 I think. I plan on posting a detailed account when we get back.

Follow the link to my Triumph Tale in my signature. I hope to post something similar after our Rhapsody trip.
