Jaymee287 Posted September 14, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 14, 2009 We are cruising for the first time next summer I have done my share of research on excursions. I found this "Stingray Sandbar, Coral Gardens, and Star Fish Snorkel" at www.nativewaywatersports.com I was wondering if any one has taken this excursion. We really wanted to do the Stingrays and the Coral Gardens was with another excursion we were looking into so the Star Fish is a definite bonus. It cost $40.00 and runs roughly 3 hours and 15 minutes, 9:30 - 12:45. If you have any information please share it!
gypsyrose Posted September 17, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 17, 2009 We did this last year and really enjoyed it. We went to the rays 1st and got to play w/ them for over 30 minutes. Then we went to coral gardens and then starfish. I really can't snorkle, tho I will try again next year. But everyone seemed to really enjoy it. I threw my disposable camera to someone and they took some good pics for me. The starfish that people were bringing up was really neat. For the $ I would say it is definitley worth it. Just doing the rays is worth that.
myers0214 Posted September 17, 2009 #3 Share Posted September 17, 2009 We did this last year and it was awesome! The people were really nice. The starfish were pretty cool - they dive down and bring them up for you to look at them or you can dive down yourself. The boat operator was extremely nice and even took us to his house afterwards to give us a charger for my husbands cell phone (he left it in our hotel in Florida so we had a dead cell phone). I would recommend them - really great experience.
