poetzmuse Posted September 14, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 14, 2009 We sailed the Pride just last week 9/6-9/13 and had a great time! Beautiful ship--lots of renassiance art and an art lovers paradise! We had a balcony on 5th floor and it was great fun--roomy and spectacular views, of course! Great food, too! We had Santos and Nengah in the dining room and they were friendly, fun, and professional! The ship was clean and staff was friendly except upper officers in white who didnt smile or say hello through 7 days. Surprising but not too big a deal. The disembarkment was excellent and we commend Carnival for the way things are handled as compared to R.C. We love R.C.,too, but the stress of getting off the ships in a crowded cramped too warm area made things uncomfortable. Carnival lets carry your own luggage off first and by floors which is organized and less hectic. We loved Carnivals food, attention to safety, and cleanliness. Go enjoy this beautiful ship and HAVE FUN!

poetzmuse Posted September 14, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted September 14, 2009 Cathyoo--yes-went to Port Canaveral then to Bahamas. We didnt get off in Port as money is tight and walked off ship in Nassau and Freeport. Loved the Pride and Carnival is a class-operation. Highly recommended!
