Aveyflower Posted September 15, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 15, 2009 We are going to be staying in Barbados for a week before our cruise, and we are looking suggestions of the best places to visit and see before we join the cruise. So tell us all about your best trips and things that you have done here. Thanks in advance
tourismmonkey246 Posted September 18, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 18, 2009 Since you'll have that extra time to play with before you start cruising, it would probably be best to see some of the things that normally would eat away at your valuable time whilst in port. Go to the East Coast, check out Bathsheba. Head north to see the Animal Flower Cave or Farley Hill. Go south and be a part of the nightlife in St. Lawrence Gap, there's always something happening in the gap. Or take a nice evening stroll on the newly-constructed South Coast Boardwalk. All these things can be done for relatively cheap so it won't really cut into your spending for your cruise either. BTW If you are on the island on Friday night, you HAVE to go to Oistins. Great food, great people, great vibe!
