Kaboochi Posted September 16, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 16, 2009 How are they? Play after dinner and the show or go to bed? Can you play for a while before putting it back or do the machines eat your money up without any hits?

bilyclub Posted September 16, 2009 #7 Share Posted September 16, 2009 I hit a double blackjack machine in December, first night, first pull for $2500. It was to the left of the stairs as you come down from the promenade.
robtulipe Posted September 16, 2009 #8 Share Posted September 16, 2009 Typically cruise ship slot payouts are a lot less than land based casino slots since they have a captive market and don't need to advertise their payouts to attract gamblers like casinos in Los Vegas, Reno or Atlantic City do. DW loves to play the slots but has learned through experience to not play on cruise ships. You are better to stick to the table game which have fixed payouts. Even with the table games, like Black Jack, the cruise casinos use subtle rule change to shift the odds slightly in their favor or add side wagers to do the same. ken_nyc Posted September 16, 2009 #9 Share Posted September 16, 2009 I hit a mega jackpot the next to last night on a penny machine on the Adventure of the Seas for $260.28. It was a progressive slot and then they announce your name and amount on the speakers in the casino which I was not thrilled about. The slot had something like 6 wheels on it. I always play the blackjack or roulette but the tables were packed, so I played the slots from the 2 nights in the casino I was down $60 when I hit...so I was ahead $200.28 and left to go to sleep and did not return to the casino.
