jetstorm Posted September 16, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 16, 2009 We will be Aruba 12 noon - 10pm and I need excursion ideas for the afternoon. We are not lay on the beach people, we're more active, snorkeling, etc. There are adults (mid 40's) and a child (13) in our party. We have been to Aruba before and snorkeled with Jolly Pirates and loved it, but would love to do something a bit different this time. We are not looking at anything expensive. lillulu Posted September 18, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 18, 2009 Hey Jetstorm Take a look at the thread labled How important is it to pre-book an island tour? (and question re: island sites) I listed a company in there and an example of what my family and I are thinking of booking for our up coming trip. Hope this helps

jetstorm Posted September 18, 2009 Author #6 Share Posted September 18, 2009 ArubaLisa, Thanks, is there some place I can find out more about Boca Catalina/Catalina Cove? Is it just a beach or is there restrooms, etc.? Which bus route would I take to get there and how long would the one-way trip usually take? Any other info. is appreciated. I'm also looking for ideas on afternoon/evening exursions. We'll be in port from 1pm to 11pm. I'm thinking a beach right away, and then maybe dinner or shopping. Anyone know how late the stores usually stay open? Are there any must-eat places for dinner?
