First time cruisers - Explorer 7244 balcony?

We're all set to cruise on the explorer of the seas in october and have a balcony on deck 7 (#7244). It's by the front of the boat near the elevators which seems convenient (and hopefully not too noisy).

Does anyone have any experience with balconies in that section? How's the view? this will be our first cruise so we're pretty excited about it!

Just back form the AOS 9/6 cruise. Our cabin 7246 was a great location . No noise from the elevator. Just below on deck 5 is the Promenade Cafe. Dining rooms are however on the other end of ship for a fairly long walk. Our dining room was deck 3 and you can't go all the way on deck 3 without going up or down to get to the back. Happy sailing.

We recently booked that same cabin # but on Explorer...an upgrade from our E2 booking. Someone was concerned about it being a forward cabin and issues with seasickness. Please let me know what you think about that concern.

Can you share your opinion of this cabin, now that your cruise is long past? We're booked to sail in 7246 in October and I'm a little nervous about seasickness issues. Thanks!

Been on the Explorer, and a great ship with great crew. Had a balcony.

As for the view, you have a balcony, starboard side, deck 7!!!!. View will be great, sounds and smell of the ocean also NICE.

Just returned from EOS August cruise in cabin 9228-it was almost all the way forward, and although there were rough seas most of the 9 day cruise-the ship is so big you hardly feel it! It was quiet being all the way forward, and closer to the elevators than being in the middle!
