Upsell call

Hi all,

 

I got an upsell call a little while ago. Got a category 12 suite for Monday on the Miracle (up from a category 8B) for a total of $800 for 4 people. Felt nervous going for it, but hey, you only live once right... Is the opinion that this was a good decision for the money.

OP: It does not matter what anyone else thinks, if you are happy that is all that matters. Have a wonderful cruise in your suite.

The only problem I see is that you can never go back! You will need a suite on every cruise going forward.

I also got an upgrade on the Carnival Freedom two days before I was heading to Fort Lauderdale. Had booked my first balcony cabin and then was upgraded to a suite balcony. Of course said YES. It was absolutely amazing!!!! :)

Anyone ever notice the area code of the calling upseller's phone number? I NEVER answer my phone unless I know the # because of tons of telemarketer calls a day (that Do Not Call list works wonders for me :rolleyes:) but I would HATE to miss that call!
