badnuze Posted September 21, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 21, 2009 Hello justjess57 we did this excursion in June there were kids on it and they loved it there was some deck swabbing going on among other things the crew even got some of the older ones involved 13 -15 yr. olds my niece was 14 then and she had a blast although I wouldnt want to spoil it by telling everything most of the adults either walked the plank or chose to jump from the higher railing probably a 20 ft. drop into the water I am 49 and I had alot of fun on this excursion . At first I thought it would be kind of cheesy but after all it was alot of fun. Bubba
Cruise Organizer Posted September 24, 2009 #3 Share Posted September 24, 2009 This sounded like fun - I had gone on the Jolly Roger in Barbados. Went to the website and asked about our Oct cruise - 4 people Website showed a 2 1/2 hr cruise with open bar and food for $40 pp. Reply came yesterday - must book with Carnival. Checked Carnival excusions and found the info. 2 hr cruise with rum punch and soda - no food, no open bar - $40 pp since no one drinks rum and no food - this is overpriced. Carnival lessens the excusion and charges a high price - they must make a nice commission on this excusion - we will not be going.
