Grenada for TEENS. HELP!!

We will have 6 teenage boys and 1 teenage girl with us and are trying to decide what to do with the kids in Grenada. I have read great things about Mandoo but worry that the kids will be "bored" on a bus tour. I know they will like swimming in the falls, but wonder how interested they will be in a spice plantation. Any chance we'll be able to see monkeys in the rain forest?? I see that Princess offers an excurison which goes to both Annandale and Concord Falls, and offers a 4 wd excursion to the Falls and Hot springs. I'd love any insight and recommendations but keep in mind we are really trying to fins something great for 6 teenage boys!!

Check out the Ports of Call board/ other Carribean. You may want to try an independent tour. With 6 kids, you'll either need a van or two cabs. We hired an independant cabbie in Dominica, and for less than the ship's tours, we went to all the same places, with our own 'private' guide. We spent as much time as we wanted to at each place, not the "ok, folks you got 20 minutes, and then back on the bus". It seems that most of the ships tours end up at someplace to shop. We'd rather shop on our own also. Good luck, and happy cruising!

We did Mandoo's tour with one 17 year old and one 14 year old and they loved it. Our group of 8 had our own airconditioned van. I think with a group of larger than that you would have a larger vehicle. We had "Patrick" as our guide/driver and we met up with Mandoo at the Douglas spice plantation. He seemed to have a larger group with a ton of teenagers with him. They all seemed to be enjoying their tour!

We had 2 teen girls with us on a Mandoo tour this summer. They loved swimming in the falls, but that was about it. They were bored on the rather long bus trip along with a running political commentary from the driver and would have rather visited more falls or go to a beach. The 4x4 was sold out before we started planning but that looked like fun.
