You can pre-pay gratuities.

Missa....If you are talking about "prepurchase" as in "buy or book or reserve" before you get on the ship, then shore excursions are the only thing. You cannot book spa, salon, specialty restaurants, etc. prior to boarding. (Wish that would change though.)

You can put money onto your seapass in advance :D

I just emailed my TA and asked him if I could do it through him....he said yes...so I then authorised him to do it,he has all our booking details so it was easy enough for him to do it.

As I live in the UK it would have cost alot to phone him so I do everything by email.

In two shakes of a lambs tail...done....I did a certificate type of thing on the computer and gave my son it at christmas so that he knew how much was on his account.

You do not need your TA to arrange a stateroom credit for you.

 

Call RCCL and ask to be put through to the department (can't recall the name of it right now) who will let you put the credit on your stateroom.

 

If you exceel $500 you will have to fax in a copy of the front and back of your credit card.

 

I put $'s on my account every month and have never had a problem. When you get to your cabin, there should be a card on a table (or bed) indicating how much money is already on your account.

 

This is so easy and convenient. As far as I am concerned it beats carrying lots of loot around.

In the UK you cant phone RCCI to do that and there is no way I was phoning the USA to do it....that is why I have to do it through my TA in USA...sorry if that confused anyone. The way the exchange rate is at the mo it is a great way for us in the UK to build up our seapass account.

Sorry Liz I did not realize you were from outside the USA or Canada. No wonder you have to go through a TA.

 

However, is there not a phone number you can contact for your area that would not be charged to you?????
