Cobham cruiser Posted September 22, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2009 Having sailed on Princess and RCL we found there was often more after dinner entertainment than we could fit in before going to bed however having just returned from Celebrity Equinox we were really disappointed; most nights there was only the main show which for the majority was pretty mediocre. The lounges, apart from two nights only had the pool band playing until midnight and the nightclub DJ stopped at 1am. We are thinking of doing 16 nights on the Azura next July and want to check that generally PandO ships have a good variety of entertainment going on after dinner. Do they still do an evening team quiz? Also with Freedom Dining do they cater for large groups, there will be 13 of us. Apologies for asking so many questions, any help would be most appreciated
LibraLass41 Posted September 24, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 24, 2009 I recently returned from a 7n Oceana cruise, and we had Bobby Davro doing 2 different shows in the evening - for both dinner sittings, 3 or 4 theatre shows, a lady comdedian, Sir Henry Cooper did a after dinner talk about his Boxing career, plus musicians around the ship. It was really good. Quizs also held in the evenings, bingo etc.
Jackielan Posted September 26, 2009 #3 Share Posted September 26, 2009 After returning from the Oriana last month, I found it difficult to ft everything in, there was too much going on. There were shows, a comedian - Mickey Zany - after dinner talks, quizzes - there was something for everyone. Jackie
