mrstay Posted September 24, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 24, 2009 My husband and I are sailing on Enchantment in March 2010 out of Colon for our 25th anniversary. We were previously booked in a balcony, but checked today and saw that 7666 was open and couldn't help myself. I read tons of reviews about it ahead of time. I don't mind the walk (burns more calories). I wanted a corner, but with no noise. I have read too many reviews about the noise on 7166 (which was also available). We will be on a cruise out of Colon with the majority of the cruise passengers being from Latin America countries. Being that they generally do not dine until 9:30 that would make their recreation in the evening be much later than most Americans. That being said I would anticipate the lounge to be busy much later than midnight. Can't believe the cabin was available. Sorry had to have a moment of excitement, for which most of those i would talk to would not understand.
KissKowgirl Posted September 24, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 24, 2009 My husband & I have an aft cabin on Enchantment also, number 8670 on the November 9 sailing out of Ft. Lauderdale. We have never had an aft cabin so are looking forward to the huge balcony. I guess we are one story above you Tammy. Diana
dixieva Posted September 24, 2009 #3 Share Posted September 24, 2009 Please come back and tell us how you liked 7666. We have it and 7668 (right next to it) booked for March 2011. Let'sGo! Posted September 24, 2009 #4 Share Posted September 24, 2009 Congratulations! We had the corner aft on Rhapsody and it was amazing! There was just two of us and we felt almost selfish having that much space to ourselves! We had the center aft once, then the next cruise we lucked into the corner aft. Yes it is a long walk, but by far, that has been my favorite cabin of all of our cruises. You'll LOVE it!
