Do kids have to be potty trained to use the H2O Zone on Liberty of Seas ( RCCL ) ?

We plan to take a 7 day Carribean cruise on the Liberty of Seas in Nov and I am really excited about the H2O Zone for my son who will 3 years ( almost - Bday in Dec ). He loves playing in water and will really enjoy the H2O zone .

Do kids have to be potty trained to use the splash area ?

Well yes and no. Yes, there is a small area of the H20 zone that the kids who aren't potty trained are allowed to play in. It's called the "Baby Splash Zone".

 

If they see a child wearing swim diapers, the deck patrol will redirect you and the child over to the Baby Splash Zone. But the rest of the H20 zone (and all of the other pools and hot tubs on the ship) are off limites to kids who aren't potty trained :(
