texaspappy Posted September 30, 2009 #3 Share Posted September 30, 2009 We were on Roatan Jan. 30, 2008 and Feb. 25, 2009---went snorkeling both times---the weather was great and water was warm---you will love it!
jkjmt Posted October 3, 2009 #4 Share Posted October 3, 2009 It's funny because you both are from Florida so what is warm to us from New York is freezing to you. When we went cave tubing in Belize everyone said the water was freezing.....it was fine for us. I have always found the water in the caribbean to be comfortable.....:D

jkjmt Posted October 4, 2009 #6 Share Posted October 4, 2009 Hahaha....about four years ago (before the hurricane ruined Majahja or however you spell it) we spent the day in Costa Maya in March and thought the water was great......:p....New York vs. Georgia. Roatan1 Posted October 5, 2009 #7 Share Posted October 5, 2009 It will be too cold for some, perfect for others and maybe even a little warm for a scattered few. Everyone is different. Ever been cold or warm when others want a sweater or air conditioning? Plan on day air temps in the mid to upper eighties if its a nice clear sunny day and water temps in the upper 70's to low 80's
