Puerto Limon activities with kids - suggestions??

Several years ago, we took a one-week land trip to Costa Rica with our kids. The activities we enjoyed the most were Canopy Tour (i.e., ziplines) and Tortuguero Canals.

I think your two older kids will enjoy the ziplines. However, the 6-yr old is too young. I will suggest that you check Tortuguero Canals boat ride. We saw lots of wild animals and birds there.

I concur with the zip line idea. We did this in Costa Rica in April and it was one of those once-in-a-lifetime events. We booked with The Original Canopy Tour. They took great care of us and everyone had a blast! There is another company that does zip line trips, and I've heard good reports on them as well.

We have done canopy tours in Costa Rica where we walked on swinging bridges. That is something that any age can do and it was great! We saw so much of the habitat and wildlife........even the ant colonies which were amazing!!
