GAPaige Posted September 28, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 28, 2009 Argh! I just checked the weather and this is our second cruise in a row that we will have a rainy day in Cozumel. Last time, we tried snorkeling, but the water was choppy and the visibility wasn't great. We ended up shopping for a bit, but really didn't do too much. Right now the forcast is for 60% chance of rain when we be there next week. I know a forcast can (and hopefully will!) change in a week, but we want to have an idea of what we'll be doing. Any suggestions for a rainy day?
KAWS Posted September 28, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 28, 2009 Try the mexican cooking class. That's done at the beach but under tarps so you'll stay dry. It was fun. Drinks (and food obviously) are included.
GAPaige Posted September 28, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted September 28, 2009 Do you have a link to check it out? I'm not a fan of booking through the ship. Thanks!
KAWS Posted September 28, 2009 #4 Share Posted September 28, 2009 I'm not either but for the cooking class at Playa Mia you have to go through the cruise ship. I really wanted that excursion and could only find it through the cruise line. I've heard of another one at Mr. Sanchos that you can book independently. Reviews say the Playa Mia one is more fun but the Mr. Sanchos is more authentic. Google Mr. Sanchos and see if there's a link to them that way or else go with the cruise line one.
