piislanders Posted September 28, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 28, 2009 Hello all When we booked our 2010 cruise the ta said if we had enough points we should use a 125000 point credit for the cruise. we used that and our next cruise credit and paid the remainding balance due at that time. We still owe a good balance but because of family issues we most likly will have to cancel. Is any of the rccl visa credit or next cruise refundable. Can we transer it to someone else on the same cruise. could it be moved to a open date? I know its crazy but crazy things happen in our lives. kc320 Posted September 28, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 28, 2009 You will get your $100 next cruise deposit refunded if you have to cancel...and there was a thread on here last week or so than said you could get your visa points returned if you did not use your certificate...since you have used it though I would call Crown & Anchor & ask them about getting your points back... I'm pretty sure you could transfer your booking # to another cruise..maybe one farther out..or not as expensive...just be SURE to keep the same booking # to keep your OBC from the next cruise certificate... PhoenixCruiser Posted September 29, 2009 #3 Share Posted September 29, 2009 You only have a six month period to use your BOA cruise points - sorry! "GENERAL REWARD COUPON TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. Stateroom Upgrade, Cruise Discount, Companion Fare, and Free Cruise Rewards may be capacity-controlled and are subject to availability of accommodation. 2. Calculation of the value of the Stateroom Upgrade, Companion Fare and Free Cruise Rewards for the Cardholder will be consistent with the fare basis applicable to the booking. If the upgrade, companion fare, or free cruise accommodations cost more than the maximum value of the Reward Coupon, the Cardholder must pay the difference. 3. A Reward Coupon for Stateroom Upgrades, Companion Fares, and Free Cruises may not be used for any cruises that depart or at sea on Christmas Day (Christmas Sailings) or New Year’s Day (New Year Sailings). 4. Rewards may not be used either retroactively or to pay the cost of cruise-related travel deposits. The Stateroom Upgrade or Cruise Discount Reward will not be effective until after you have tendered final payment for the cruise arrangements and provide the Reward Coupon to Royal Caribbean International. Only original Reward Coupons will be accepted. Facsimiles or any other reproduced form of the Reward Coupon will not be accepted. You can redeem Rewards either directly with Royal Caribbean International or through your United States-based travel agency. When redeeming these other Rewards through a travel agency, the Reward Coupon must be presented directly to the travel agent at the time you tender final payment for the cruise and the Reward Coupon must be received by Royal Caribbean International by no later than the final payment date. If you are booking directly through Royal Caribbean International, you must mail the Reward Coupon to Royal Caribbean International prior to making your final payment for the cruise. The address to which you should mail the Reward Coupon is Attn: Royal Rewards 4729 S. Palisade Wichita, KS67217. If you are booking through the Internet, the Reward Coupon must be mailed to Royal Caribbean International prior to making your final payment for the cruise. Each Reward Coupon expires one hundred and eighty (180) days from its date of issue. 5. All Reward Coupons received by Royal Caribbean International are forfeited if the associated booking is subsequently canceled." We always need to read the fine print... ###
