Just to clarify about alcohol on the Rhapsody. For cruises departing Australia, those 18 and over can have a waiver signed by parents (must be travelling with parents) which allows them beer and wine. This is what happened with our 18 year old daughter last December.

No problem on Rhapsody of the Seas because as she sails under USA law no one under the age of 21 can be served alcohol at any time.

Jillybean:)

Just wondering, are passengers under 21 on Rhapsody allowed to play in the casino?

Thanks for the help Jillybean :)

I think they can if they are travelling with someone over 21. As SAcruzer mentioned if they sign a waiver.

I would suggest checking with RCCL just to make sure though.

The new waiver also includes spirits

Thanks for the response Jillybean. The waiver covers alcohol but does not mention anything about casino. Might email RCI and see what they say :)

Our son was allowed to play at 18 on the mariner of the seas in the USA so assume they would be allowed to play here too.

Also on the Sun Princess he was allowed to play at 18. He actually celebrated his 18th birthday on the ship.
