If You Could See Me Now Jingle - Need the words

What I am in need of is the words to the old jingle of Carnival's "If You Could See Me Now.....I'm on a funship cruise". It was done by Kathy Lee Gifford a while back in their commercials.

Anyone know all the words?

I think this is it... It was actually a Disco Hit....

Lyrics

If My Friends Could See Me Now by: Linda Clifford

Lyrics by: Cy Coleman/Dorothy Fields

1978

Chart Activity 1978 Disco

If they could see me now

That old gang of mine

I'm eating fancy chow

And drinking fancy wine

I'd like those stumble bums

To see for a fact

The kind of top drawer

First rate chums I attract

All I can say is, wow

Hey, look at where I am

I've landed, pow

Right in a pot of jam

What a setup, holy cow

They'd never believe it

If my friends could see me

(If they could see me)

Said if my friends could see me

(If they could see me)

Oh, if my friends could see me

If they could see me now

If they could see me now

My little dusty prince

Chasing around

This million dollar chick

I'd hear those real hip cats

Say, brother, get her

Draped on a bedspread

Made of three kinds of fur

To think the highest brow

Which I must say is he

Should pick the lowest brow

Which there's no doubt is me

What a step up, holy cow

They'd never believe it

If my friends could see me

(If they could see me)

If all my friends could see me

(If they could see me)

Said if my friends could see me

If they could see me now

I'll rejoice with all my friends

I said rejoice with all my friends

If they could see me

If they could see me

If they could see me

If all my friends could see me

If they could see me now

That old gang of mine

Eating fancy chow

And drinking fancy wine

If all my friends could see me now

See me now, holy cow

If they could see me

If they could see me

If they could see me....

Edited to say: These are the original lyrics...Of course the words were changed for Carnivals purpose but the tune is the same. :)

IIt was actually a Disco Hit....
It's *much* older than that. It was originally from the Broadway musical Sweet Charity, and then later (1969) made into a film. Gwen Verdon played the title character when the show premiered at the Palace Theater in 1966.

The same musical that brought us the classic "Hey, Big Spender."

something about eating and drinking booze...that's what keeps coming in my mind, but i don't think that's right...

I like your lyrics better than the real ones:

If they could see me now

I'm on a Funship cruise

I'm eating all the time

and drinking lots of booze...;)
