Carnival Ship snorkel excursions

Does anyone know if the tour operators of snorkel excursions offered by Carnival come out to the ship to pick up passengers? Or do you have to tender to port to hook up with the tour operator?

I am not a big fan of tendering. I am concerned that tendering will tend to eat up a lot of the port time. Give me a pier and I am a happy camper.:p

Don't know whether they still do this excursion, but when we sailed Carnival a couple of years ago we did the snorkel trip to Goff's Caye. The boat picked us up right at the ship and returned us there, which was part of the reason we did the excursion. We had a wonderful day. There are no "facilities" of any kind at GC, except for a small boat that sells drinks and has restrooms.
