Inside Cabin

MP&MP

Recommended Posts

I booked an inside cabin on the NCL Sky catorgory N- GTY. When I did my e-docs today I notice that we actually already had a room number so I looked it up the location. I was expecting to be under the kitchen but was pleasantly surprise to be on the Viking deck with an inside cabin catorgory II. Are these upgrades normal for inside cabins?

When we book, we always book the cheapest cabin we can find. On many ships, that is a Cat N. They usually have very limited cabins in that range, maybe 4 or so, but they use this as an incentive for people to book. Since there is a very limited number of cabins in that category, most get an N guarantee, and MOST get the upgrade. You could, of course be one of the few who does get that Cat N cabin, where we are usually sleeping with the crew (LOL)
