Carnival's Snorkeling & Dunn's River Falls Excursion--Anyone been?

Doing tons of research of an excursion to do in Ocho Rios (on Liberty 11/7). Has anyone been on the ship's excursion to DRF and Snorkeling? From what I've read snorkeling isn't that great in Jamaica, but according to Carnival's website you snorkel at Dolphin Cove (which I have no idea what this is).

 

Any help or past experiences will really help, especially with opinions on pricing. Thanks!

Personally I would never do Carnival's excursion to DRF. I saw the masses of people on the ship sponsored excursions and it looked absolutely miserable to me. Do a little research here and pick an independent operator. We went with Phil Lafayette. There were only about 20 of us and it was awesome.
