LindaAL Posted October 1, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 1, 2009 Hi! We are travelling on the Ruby in November. My DH read somewhere that you could purchase time at the Sanctuary for the entire cruise at a discount compared to paying each time you go. Has anyone ever done this, or know what the cost might be for a ten day cruise? Thanks!
roe2ship Posted October 1, 2009 #2 Share Posted October 1, 2009 It is $10pp for a half day, $20pp for a full day and discounted at $15pp all day if booked for the entire cruise.
LindaAL Posted October 1, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted October 1, 2009 Thanks for the information!! I'm not sure if we'll do the whole cruise or not - my DH figured since we booked and inside and saved money that way, he might like to have the Sanctuary for the whole trip. I don't think it makes much sense on port days, but we'll see! Thanks again!!
SingerEsq Posted October 1, 2009 #4 Share Posted October 1, 2009 We've opted for window cabins and the Sanctuary cruise long on both the Emerald and the Ruby. Even in the Med. (port almost every day), we'd return to the ship after our excursion and spend some time (a couple of hours) for a snack, cocktail and sailaway. Wouldn't do it any other way now. :D

I don't think it makes much sense on port days, but we'll see! Thanks again!! We were on the Ruby 12-day Grand Med with only 2 days at sea. Daily bookings in the sanctuary opens at 7:15am. 1st sea day my DW got on line at the Santuary at 7:00am and was able to reserve 2 lounges for half day. 2nd sea day I was on line at 7:05am with about 8 people ahead of me. After the first 3 people on line were taken the Sanctuary was sold out for the day. :eek:But not a big deal for us since we were on Caribe deck with an extra large balcony and 4 chairs, 2 of which recline.:) I found the best place to lounge on deck was by the Terrace Pool in the stern. It's adults only and only steps from Outriggers Bar and very near the Horizon Court, and no extra charge for lounging there. ;)
