We've only sailed NCL once thus far (booked on the Dawn in Jan) but I understand that there are coffee makers in all stateroom cats. That is the thing I think I like about NCL the most.:D

Yes, there are 4 cup Mr. Coffee type makers in the cabins with Folgers coffee packs which will be replaced daily. If you want good coffee then bring your own and bring 4 cup type filters.:)

On the Hawaii cruise we had Hawaiian coffee packets. They were very good.

In August 2007 on Pride of America, the coffee packets were Hawaiian Kona coffee. It was a nice treat. Aloha!

On the other hand, the room service coffee on NCL is first rate, and it can also be used as a wakeup call instead of an alarm clock. And maybe a little juice and a croissant to go with it.

The OS on the POA had an expresso machine that also makes fresh ground coffee. It takes about 10 seconds to make a great cup of coffee!

Fresh coffee beans are provided daily, as well.

Your coffee on the Hawaii cruise will be a delicious Hawaiian Kona Coffee Blend, no Foldgers .... ;) We had a balcony cabin, and sat out there enjoying the fresh brewed coffee first thing in the morning.

You will LOVE this cruise.

There were no such coffee makers on the Sun OS or Penthouse that I was in.:( Haven't been in other ships suites.....yet! :D The room service coffee was great and we also used it as a wake up call.:)

If you don't like the Lavazzo Machine you can ask your room steward or butler to bring you the Mr. Coffee type. Or, there is always room service.
