Lobster on Dawn Beach

Hi!

 

Headed to St. Maarten next year (been there back in '02). There was a great shack on Dawn Beach that served up the most amazing lobster. Does anyone know the name and/or if it is still there? It is not Busby's, but further down the beach from that... When I went it was pre-Westin, so don't know if it is still there... Thanks for any help!

We have fond memories of Scavengers, a beach bar located farther down Dawn Beach. Don't know if they did lobster, but we had fantastic fish sandwiches from their outdoor grill. Hated to see them close down, but apparently the Weston booted them out.

I did a bit of googling after receiving the name of the "hut" and it appears that she is gone... boo! What great memories of that place. I've also read that Dawn Beach has changed quite a bit over the years... sad.

I went to Dawn Beach in March. I don't remember the name of the place, but they did have a large lobster tank where you could choose your own lobster. It looked very good, but it was rather expensive.
