Horses

Wanted to enquire about horse riding. There are a number of options including swimming with horses or just riding into the ocean with them. Does anyone have any experience with the best horse riding experience? Is swimming in the ocean with them worth the price ($125/pp was a quote)?

If you have Jamaica as one of your ports they have a ride that

includes a swim. I did it a few years ago and it was $50. I'm

sure it will most likely be more now. It was mostly a walking ride,

but because I'm experienced I went off with one of the "guides" and

galloped on the beach. When we got to the swimming spot we took

turns on a few of the horses. Not all the horses were swimmers.

It was a fun ride for me because I didn't have to just walk my horse.

We also stoped at a crashed drug runner's plane that had been turned

into a bar. They sold water, cokes & beer. It was worth the $50 bucks

to get to ride on the horse as it was swimming. That isn't something

you get a chance to do often!

I don't know anything about what the ride in the Caymans is like.

It could be worth $125. Maybe someone can give you more info.
