Sdallnct Posted October 5, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 5, 2009 We are on the Valor 11/1 and my wife is interested in going after dinner to watch movies out by the pool on the big screen. I have read a lot of information about the Valor but must be missing out door movie information. (I assume it is the same on all this class of ship). Can someone provide some details? Anything will help, but specifically; Do they have movie night every night? What time do they do it or do they repeat (we have late seating for dinner)? What type of movies do they show? (I would assume "family oriented" G movies) How do they do seating? Using the lounge chairs? Do the Capers each day tell of the movie and time? Will they have snacks, popcorn and such or should we grab from earlier in the day? (I plan on bringing Vodka for their great lemonade). Anything else would be helpful...Thanks in advance! DaDivaMom Posted October 5, 2009 #2 Share Posted October 5, 2009 On the 9/13 sailing of the Valor the movies were run twice each evening but they were not every night. If a deck party or other activity was planned then no movie. I think they ran 3 or 4 different movies. They list the times in the Caper. Popcorn is available for purchase for a 1.50 and the pizza place is open. Depending if you go to the earlier showing then many more options are open. It was a bit breezy for me so I brought a beach towel to cover up to watch the one movie we caught. I recall the following: Nights in Radonthe a Disney film about a cartoon dog and I'm sorry that's all...........
yogi2929 Posted October 5, 2009 #3 Share Posted October 5, 2009 The Splendor had a big steward cart full of blankets for Movie night. Maybe Valor has them also.
