beachbum84 Posted January 5, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 5, 2005 I'll be on the Jewel in March, and I was wondering if there is anyway to get behind the scenes. I know I would be interesting to see how everything works. One member of my group is a Chef and would love to see the kitchen. Is there any tour like that on board for maybe on of the at sea days? Thanks for any help!
madforcruising Posted January 5, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 5, 2005 The only behind the scene tour on my Jewel cruises was exactly a backstage tour. The took you backstage in the theater and to the sound and light booth. No Galley or navigational bridge tours.
MGoBlue2 Posted January 5, 2005 #3 Share Posted January 5, 2005 Sure there's a way, it may cost you a little though, just complete 24 cruises with RCI - Behind the scenes tours is one of the benefits listed for Diamond Plus.
skiiergirl Posted January 5, 2005 #4 Share Posted January 5, 2005 You probably can't get a bridge tour due to security but you should be able to get a galley tour and a theatre tour. For the galley tour ask your head waiter about it. He/she can probably arrange it for you. I'm not sure who to ask for the theatre tour but the loyalty ambassador would be a good start. madelinerose Posted January 5, 2005 #5 Share Posted January 5, 2005 I think I've read that all bridge tours were cancelled after 9/11.
