jkjmt Posted October 7, 2009 #2 Share Posted October 7, 2009 We took our daughter to the Belize Zoo when she was 7....because in third grade (which was the following year for her) they study rainforest animals and do a big animal report on it. She had pictures of her animal and was the envy of her class. I have been asked to speak to the third grade classes many times because of these pictures and all our times in the rain forest. Cave tubing is awesome and the zip lines in Belize are not quite as extreme as in Honduras, so maybe he'd like to zip.
welldone60 Posted October 8, 2009 #3 Share Posted October 8, 2009 Do you like small boats? Try the "Captain your own boat" tour thru Coral Breeze. They take you thru the Mangroves then to the Wallace river. You will see lots of Monkeys, Iguanas, Crocs and even some Bats. You drive a small boat and follow your guides. The boats are easy to drive. Do a search in the Belize post and there are several threads with photos.
