Hair Straightener / flat iron

Can any one tell me if you are allowed to take a hair straightener on board the P&O Pacific Jewel? :confused: I know lots of ships dont allow things like irons, curling wands on board. Thanks in advance

Yes, you can take your straightner. Mind you, everytime I tried straightening my hair on the last cruise, I got seasick!! I have quite thick hair though and it does take a while. I gave up after a few goes as the humidity turned my straight hair quite frizzy in no time at all :mad: although we were in the south pacific in January, so I should have expected hot humid weather, lol :)

Yes, you can take those sorts of things on, just remember to take a power board, as there is only one powerpoint in room, so if you have a hair dryer, straightner, camera charger etc.... is a bit tricky.... A powerboard is a must. Fiona

Thanks for the info guys, its just we were on RCL in July and heaps of people had them taken off them because they say they are fire hazzards, so thanks P&O must be more relaxed.
