New Orleans hotesl w/ cruise parking - in garage or a lot?

I have reservations for 3 hotels booked for my April Cruise. Each one includes cruise parking. I am wondering if the parking is in a garage or in an open lot. I've heard some hotels just us an open/public lot. I would feel more secure with my car in a garage so I am trying to determine which hotel reservation to keep - or if I should just pay the terminal parking.

 

The hotels are:

 

Hampton Inn Convention Center

Renaissance Arts Hotel New Orleans

Renaissance Pere Marquette Hotel New Orleans

 

Anyone know about their parking? I'd also appreciate any opinions on these hotels, location, etc. Which is closest to the French Quarter/Bourban St? Any info is welcome.

 

I have tried dozens of hotels and have settled on these 3...just need to narrow it further.

Renaissance Pere Marquette has valet parking in a garage connected with the hotel. We had no problems getting our car when we needed it, but we didn't need it often because the RPM is only a block from Canal and Bourbon Streets.
