lady_cruiser Posted October 11, 2009 #3 Share Posted October 11, 2009 SATXLADY - I know you off line right now but when you come back I hope you come back on and read this. How was The Harbor House? We are staying there in January. By the way my sister, TX_Lady, is also from San Antonio? She lives in Northwest San Antonio and works at Wilford Hall. What part of S.A. do you live in? pamletx Posted October 11, 2009 #6 Share Posted October 11, 2009 SATXLADY - I know you off line right now but when you come back I hope you come back on and read this. How was The Harbor House? We are staying there in January. By the way my sister, TX_Lady, is also from San Antonio? She lives in Northwest San Antonio and works at Wilford Hall. What part of S.A. do you live in? We stayed there in August and really like it! It was our first cruise - so it was exciting to watch the Ecstasy come in the morning of the cruise. It's pricey - but the rooms are HUGE .. It's basically just a continental breakfast .. yogurt, pastries, coffee ... not a hearty hot breakfast - but being so close to the ship we were some of the first on and went straight to lunch!! :) My husband had dropped us off the night before and we walked our luggage over the next morning .. dropped it with the porter and got in line! (and I am NOT in shape and the walk wasn't TOO bad ... even in August!) In April we plan on staying there for our cruise on the Conquest. They let you leave your car in the lot .. So this time we'll drive the luggage over and just walk to the ship! They were hit pretty hard by Ike but apparently have most of the rooms finished.. The views are wonderful .. we sat in our window and watched the ship! We also watched the Conquest leave the evening before!

Around 3:55pm Texas time, go to http://www.galveston.com/cruisecam/ When she is out of that frame, click on the Harbor Cam... Then after she rounds the bend, open a new window and open up http://www.cavalla244.org/PicnicGrounds.htm Once she is off that view and the Harbor cam view, click on http://www.cavalla244.org/ParkWebcam.htm I hope that lets you track her as far as you choose to!!! This has been fun watching her leave..only wishes I was on her!! Thanks for the location of all the cams.
