Return flight time help

Just because you dock at 8am does not mean you will get off at 8am. PLus there may be customs delays, other delays etc. I think 11:40 may be cutting it a little close. Is there a later flight you could book? I would book the later flight and then if you get to MIA early try to go stand by on the 11:40 one. (this is what we did last April out of MCO)

The problem is there are can be Customs & Immigration delays, baggage handling delays, the ship can have a problem and be late getting in, and if you're flying from MIA or FLL those airports are zoos on winter weekends with extremely long lines to both check-in and to get through security. It's possible you could make it if everything goes like it should, but if you miss your flight you could be stuck for days as flights have been cut back and are running very full.
