Mexican Riviera Shore Excursions

Has anyone done the ATV tours in either Cabo or Puerto Vallarta? What did you think? Also, has anyone done the Chillean Bay snorkeling (catamaran) tour in Cabo? What did you think and is there much room to sit on the catamaran? Also, I’ve done the Las Caletas in Puerto Vallarta but its been quite awhile. Cant remember how much time you actually have at Las Caletas – anyone know? If you have any other shore excursions you’d like to recommend that would be great.

My DH took the ATV tour to the Lighthouse when we were in Cabo a couple years ago. He enjoyed it a lot. The ship didn't offer ATV tours, so he went with a company that he came across near the pier. Apparently he ended up being the only person from our ship on the tour. I'm thankful that he kept track of the time and told the tour guide he needed to get back to the ship. I was at the pier waiting and worried we were going to miss the last tender.

 

Actually, I didn't know exactly which tour company he had gone with. But when I checked at one of the booths they held up 5 x 7 photos of the people on the tour...and sure enough one was of my DH. So at least I knew which group he was with and the fellow assured me they would have him back in time to make it to the ship. We ended up buying the photo for $5 as it was a nice one. He has great memories of the ride.
