Age on sail and sign card question

My son will be 21 before our cruise in December, will he have to show a picture ID prior to ordering a drink, or will his age be on his sail and sign card?

They do card ~ ID Check at the entrance to the clubs.

 

I think the sign and sail cards are coded as my husband had accidentally switched cards with my minor son and was told he could not order a drink with a minors S&S card. If he looks very young the waitress may card when taking the drink as well.

The S&S card is coded so he will be able to buy drinks. He will need his photo to get into the club.

My DD needed hers for the clubs, anytime she ordered a drink from a waiter and for the parties with free drinks. Cindy
