4merlurker Posted October 18, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 18, 2009 Can I purchase bus tix/tokens for Bermuda transportation on the Explorer? If so, how early in the cruise. Would they be available at the excursion desk? Thanks, ~Connie
PSCruiser Posted October 18, 2009 #2 Share Posted October 18, 2009 Well, hopefully you'll get a specific Explorer answer, which this isn't. However, on a recent visit on an RC ship, there were no tokens/passes sold onboard. However once down the gangplank and through the gate, there was a booth right there at the ship for transportation sales. No big line, only took a minute. The big line(s) are for the ferries. houlacruiser Posted October 18, 2009 #4 Share Posted October 18, 2009 On the 9/12 Explorer sailing to Bermuda they had the bus/ferry passes available to purchase at the excursion desk the day we docked in Bermuda. $20 for a 2 day pass.

rncruiser Posted October 18, 2009 #6 Share Posted October 18, 2009 Just returned from Explorer to Bermuda. The 1 and 2 day passes are sold on board. You can also get them right at the dock. If you don't want the passes and only plan on 1 trip per day, then you can buy tokens for individual rides on the dock as well.

On our August trip this past summer, this was also our experience. No problem getting the tokens at the booth when we left the ship. The big lines were for boarding the ferry after purchacing the tokens.
