angnadam Posted October 23, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 23, 2009 We will be in Antigua on December 8 and having a hard time finding something to do. I saw a website for a zipline at Antigua Rainforest Canopy Tour. Has anyone experienced that before or have another recommendation for ziplining in Antigua? Thank you! jml1985 Posted October 23, 2009 #2 Share Posted October 23, 2009 We will be in Antigua on December 8 and having a hard time finding something to do. I saw a website for a zipline at Antigua Rainforest Canopy Tour. Has anyone experienced that before or have another recommendation for ziplining in Antigua? Thank you! We went here in September 2009. It was alot of fun. We booked thru www.tourguidegordon.com. Gordon was awesome!!! We had a full day island tour with several stops including the beach and the ziplining and Gordon ziplined with us. The price for the tour and the zipline together was the same as just booking the zipline thru the ship so definitely the way to go to see the island and the canopy tour. I have heard that ziplining is better in other locals but this was our first experience and it was fun. I would have preferred some longer lines but the 9 we did were great for our first time. Check out his website. He offers several different tours and will accomodate to your choices as well. There was just 4 of us on our tour and again we saw so much of Antigua, had local snacks, fruits, went to the beach and ziplined all for around $120pp. (this was the price for the canopy tour on our cruiseline)
DougYWG Posted October 27, 2009 #3 Share Posted October 27, 2009 That is the only ziplining on Antigua. I did it and had a blast. That is the only ziplining I have done but I have read on the boards that some other islands might offer longer/higher/more exciting zip lines. Can't vouch for that.
