Is there anyone near the water taxi dock in Caye Caulker that rents golf carts without:D having to walk very far?. I walk with a cane and have some discomfort if I walk too long. A day on the island sounds so perfect for self exploring.

Is there anyone near the water taxi dock in Caye Caulker that rents golf carts without:D having to walk very far?. I walk with a cane and have some discomfort if I walk too long. A day on the island sounds so perfect for self exploring.

If walking is a problem, there are bicycle/golfcart taxis that can take you to a nearby golf cart rental.... We only rented for a couple hours simply because the island is not that big ! Enjoy the peaceful serenity and friendly locals that are abound on Caye Caulker, along with some GREAT FOOD !!!

If you let them know in advance, they will meet your boat with a golf cart that will take you to the rental place. We did this in January. First cart ran out of juice so be sure your rental is fully charged. When you return the cart, they will drive you to whichever pier you are leaving from.
