We will be staying at the Sheraton Old San Juan for two nights prior to our sailing on teh CB on the 6th.Our problem is that we arrive late on the 4th and I am sure will be hungry after a lond day. Does anyone know of late night food places near the hotel, MInd you it may do me good to go without thinking of the fabulous food ahead. lol

ALso we are considering renting a car and driving to the Rain Forest. Any advice on this?

A big Canadian thanks to all of you

The Sheraton has two dining venues. Both are open late:

The Rain Forest visit is a good choice. There are excellent views and the road in the Forest is well marked.

You can park and follow a walking trail. Be careful of the stone portion of the path when wet (which is all the time). It's extremely slippery.

In OSJ:

A visit to El Morro is essential.

Also in town and definitely worth a visit is The Butterrfly People:

Also out of town:

If you plan to spend a coupke days, set aside time for a visit to Arecibo Observatory.
