Carnival Brides - Pianist Questions

I'm getting married on Splendor in a few weeks, and was wondering if:

 

1. The pianist will take requests (such as a song we'd like to do a First Dance to)

 

2. If the pianist just plays or sings and plays

 

3. If the pianist does the announcements, or if we need to have a separate mike setup for that.

 

4. Any other reception pianist details are welcome!! :D

1. You will have to bring the sheet music for your first song. The rest of the music he decides.

 

2. He just plays

 

3. You will have to have someone else do the announcement.

 

4. I gotta say I didn't even hear him playing because I was so busy with everything else haha.

I was going to have him use sheet music for our song but decided to do a cd instead.

My son is getting married on Destiny in June and we were hoping to have the reception in the piano bar and wondering if it was an extra fee to have the pianist play?

Yes it is extra. I don't know off the top of my head but its around 100 to have him play
