HI!

I am a first time cruiser and I feel like I'm sinking trying to pick out the best ship to suit our family. It's me, hubby and our 10 year old daughter. What I'm most looking for is a ship that my daughter will enjoy the most. Waterslides and activities are a must and I also want a great kids area to be able to send her on occassion and her not get bored. I have looked into the following ships:

Carnival Dream

Royal Carribbean Oasis and Independece

NCL - Epic

What do you think about any of these or do you have any other suggestions???

Thanks so much in advance!

If money isn't an option, go for the Oasis. If budget is a concern, but you still want a ship with a million things to do on it, then go with RCCL Independence of the Seas.

When we went on Independence, there were some insides starting at $349pp. We went the first week of February (2009)

My review for the Cruise Critic Family Board on the Independence is here....
