Sail away buffet

We are sailing on the Crown on the 28th of November and we have many different answers about the seafood buffet. Does it still exist?

What I'm hearing is that it's hit and miss. It must depend on whether they're able to get the seafood in before they leave port.

We're leaving on the Ruby on the 24th and are hopeful -- good luck on your cruise!

As has been stated above, the seafood buffet was on the Crown's most recent Transatlantic crossing on the first night immediately after sailaway. Here's a description from the Princess Patter:

BON VOYAGE BUFFET

Stay with us and continue the sailaway fun at our "Bon Voyage Dinner Buffet. Featuring Steamed Crab Knuckles, Shrimp Fountain, Lobster and Seafood Pate, Grilled Calamari, Bomba-Rice Paella and much more. Horizon Court, Deck 15 Aft

It's getting to the point with Princess that it varies ship to ship and week to week....guess you just never know:(

On the Emerald in March we had a great seafood buffet, on the CB in September....no seafood buffet. Spoke to a Horizon Court supervisor on several nights and he told me that it was being discontinued on all ships.....well, looks like that isn't happening!! Enjoy the seafood buffet if they have it! If not, enjoy what ever is there and most important, enjoy that cruise:p
