Upgrade on Noordam

We are booked on a VD category cabin for a 20 day cruise on the Noordam. We have just been offered an upgrade to SS category for $299 per person. Is that a good deal?

We did an upgrade from VE to SS earlier this month on a 12 day cruise and we paid $299. It was well worth it.

$15 /day/person for that much of an upgrade I'd say is a great deal! :)

If you can afford it I would grab it. You will love the extra space and the much bigger bathroom with the SS. Enjoy your trip. I LOVE the Noordam!

That is an unbelievable offer for a 20 day cruise. You will appreciate the extra space in the cabin and on the balcony. If you hesitate too long, you might lose the chance.

Thanks for all your quick replies. Per your advice we have grabbed the upgrade. In over 40 cruises this is the first time that we ever have been offered an upgrade. We have cabin 8053.

You got a great deal!!! We were offered $299pp to upgrade from a VE GTY to a SS GTY on a 7-day Eurodam cruise and grabbed it thinking THAT was deal.:D Boy you trumped that! Happy Sailing!

You've been assigned a very nice cabin. It is pretty much mid-ship. And, besides the extra space, you even have a few extra perks like free DVD rentals and telephone concierge. I'm sure you will have a wonderful time.

I was in cabin 8057 in September. It was a 299.00 upograde from a VD. I couldn't have been happier with the accomodations. We had some reservations about being below the Lido deck because some ccers complained about noise from above. We did not find this to be a problem at all. Once in awhile, while we were on the veranda, we could hear some chairs being moved but never form our cabin. Enjoy your trip!!!
