Westerdam - obstructed cabins, noisey?

I was looking at a 32 day cruise on Westerdam and considering the obstructed view cabin. Anyone been in one? Do you get noise from the lifeboats?:confused:

We were in an H on the Eurodam (basically the same as the Westderdam on deck 4) and had no noise problem from the lifeboat outside our window or from anywhere else. :)

I had an obstructed cabin on both the Oosterdam and Westerdam.

I never had any problem with the lifeboats concerning noise.

On both cruises, the lifeboat in front of my cabin were used at HMC. I really didn't know until I came out of bathroom that it was on the way down.

The one good thing was I had an unobstructed view during that port.
