lclocke Posted January 7, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2005 My brother is getting married April 2 and we and others of the wedding party are joining him and his bride on the Miracle sailing April 3. I have not been on a Carnival ship since I was 20, and would like some feedback as compared to the RCL Voyager class ships, which I have been on... My hubby and I love RCL and worry that we will be out numbered by the younger crowd. Please tell him and I that we will not be the only AARP members aboard! iluvdoxies Posted January 7, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 7, 2005 You will find all age groups on board- we are in our late 40's and have met nice people in their 20's and also some older than us. Just as long as you are not cruisng over spring break--you should be fine. ALso in May, school is still in session so the ship wont be overrun with kids. As far as comparing ships, I think the cabins are bigger on Carnival, the food is better and the night life wins hands down. The Miracle is a beautiful ship- the chapel is small, but very nice. Make sure you all try the supper club- very elegant and the ambiance is great. The shows are very good also---- We enjoy the sing a long piano bars- that's our favorite late night spot- The disco is open till very late-- So have a wonderful cruise!
