Hobby is about 45 minutes to Galveston

Intercontinental is about an hour and half

When cruising out of Galveston, where do you fly into? How long is the drive to Galveston from the airport?

Houston has two airports. One is Hobby (a little closer) and one is Bush (IAH)(a little farther). You will need to make some arrangements for transportation: cab, shuttle, or if you booked your cruise through Carnival, carnival shuttle. I suppose you could also rent a car if you are planning on spending some time in Galveston.

Galveston does have a little airport, but usually those little hubs are quite expensive.

Galveston has a shuttle that take people back and forth from both airports. It's not cheap though. Here is a link.
